FORMER BROOK SHED, NEW ROAD, EARBY
New Road, Earby, Barnoldswick BB18 6XA, UK
The site is situated close to the junction of New Road with Skipton Road close to Earby town centre and within walking distance of the local shops and facilities available.
Earby lies approximately three miles from Colne which provides direct access at Junction 14 onto the M65 and is within similar distance from Skipton, and North Yorkshire.
The former Northlight Mill Brook Shed, was demolished a number of years ago with the exception of the former boiler house and chimney which are located to the front of New Road. We understand that these are Listed and need to be retained although there has been an indication that there may be some flexibility with regard to reducing the height of the chimney.
The site is regular in shape and extends to approximately three acres.
It has a pleasant aspect and is generally level. There is good quality terraced housing adjacent to two of the boundaries with allotments to the southern boundary and the site fronts New Road.
The site is a registered brown field site and enquiries regarding development should be directed to Pendle Borough Council’s planning department on 01282 661661.
We are advised that all mains services are available on New Road, however interested parties must satisfy themselves as to the location and capacity is suitable for their proposed development.
